allergies trigger infection?

The cause of facial edema has not surfaced in almost a month, despite several tests and two doses of antibiotics. I'm wondering if new dental trays (plastic straighteners) might be the root of the matter as the problem started about the time dental treatment with new plastic trays started.
 
They sure could be. There have been quite a few health problems caused by the chemicals in the newly developed lighter-weight, stronger plastics.
