This may be a really durab question. My allergist had told me that i am allergic to all outside growth. Grass, trees, etc. And pollen is like poison of course. I scored very high on the scratch tests. Inside my house , my wife has assorted plants. I have not thought about it being an irritant for my asthma. She has Spyder plants, Basil plant. Baraboo plant. Cactus Plant. And a few others. She has always felt that because they don't give off pollen - they should not be a threat to me. Does anyone know if this is correct. Thank you.

Typically, that would be correct. However, indoor plants collect dust and promote mold growth due to watering. You have to be very dedicated to keeping them clean if you have problems with either. I found that ferns really drove me nuts and also had to ditch my Norfolk pine.
