Allergic reaction to paint?

I have started painting my room a few days ago and now I am itching all over. I noticed that I have some small rashes, especially in the area that has come into contact with the paint. It is acrylic paint. Would the reaction go away by itself? I have tried leaving the windows open because I had done a few finishing touches to the paint job today but now I'm really itching all over!
 
Although most people suffer from the "top allergens" most commonly, it is possible to have an allergic reaction to pretty much anything.

I would also double check to make sure the paint does not also contain latex. Latex is a common allergen and some people develop anaphylaxis to it, which can be fatal.

I would follow up with an allergist for allergy testing to determine what you are allergic to.
