Hi everyone,
On Wednesday I took 2 advil(ibruprofen) and 1 lexapro 10mg within an hour of each other. I had some pizza for lunch and then some people in my office started making belgian waffles homemade on waffle irons. Soon after the waffles my eye started itching like crazy, but I just thought it was irritated. I went home that night, itchy eye was still happening but I didn't even think I was having an reaction. I woke up on Thursday morning with a swollen eyelid and hives on my back and torso!! I immediately took some benedryl throughout the day and the hives were gone by Friday morning and so was the swelling.My only known food allergy is pineapples. I am allergic to some antibiotics, cipro, and amoxicillian. Dr. thinks it was the advil or a food reaction. I'm going to an allergist but the appt is in amonth. So, does anyone have any thoughts? I will be bummed if I can't take advil, because I like taking it monthly for my cramps! lol. Thanks guys! Appreciate it!
