Hello,

I've been off milk products since 2005 when I realized I was getting bad stomach aches from dairy. Since then I've tried various soy and rice products for calcium. I had soymilk this week after not having any for almost a year and got some stomach aches. I also cannot tolerate green leafy vegetables (another source of calcium) because they give me bloating and pains. I am highly allergic to peanuts and tree nuts and also wheat/gluten intolerant. I'm guessing I'm going to have to end up taking a supplement since two pieces of rice cheese a day with white beans once a week is probably not enough calcium.
Anyone know of any allergen-free supplement branRAB that have that pharmaceutical seal of approval on it? (If I'm going to be taking something everyday I want to make sure the ingredients have been declared safe) Nature Made has a product that says it's produced on the same line as peanuts! If you know of any, please let me know! Thanks!

If I were you, I would go to a specialty vitamin or health food store and talk to the owner.

Meanwhile, tofu, canned fish with the bones in, and calcium-fortified orange juice are also good sources of calcium. (Yes, I like to eat canned sardines. With the spines. They taste good!)

Citrical is a very reputable brand, and it is very well aRABorbed. You might want to look at getting a calcium supplement with some vitamin d in it to make sure your body gets the most out of the calcium - maybe discuss it with your pharmacist?
