Ok im 16 years old and 160 pounds. I have been riding dirt bikes since i was 7 but i have never owned one. I have always used my friends in the past. I havnt been riding lately but my friend just got a yamaha YZ 125 and he suggested that i get one so we can go riding. When i was 7 i started on a honda 75cc then i rode a honda 100cc then i rode his YZ 125. Im thinking about buying a 250cc 2 stroke of my own. Can you tell me what to look for so that i dont end up with a overused bike. How can i tell that im getting a good bike. I dont want to end up having to get a new clutch, forks, radiator. I will obviously take it for a test drive but how can i be sure im not getting ripped off. Im looking to spend around $1800 not including gear. Im planning to take it to the track and up north there are miles and miles of old logging trails. By the way i live in Wisconsin.
