ALL THE LIGHTS ON MY HONDA CIVIC TRUNK DO NOT WORK?

So recently i noticed that the rear lights on my TRUNK, DO NOT work for my 2004 HONDA CIVIC LX 4 DOOR. The outer lights work when the headlights are on but the inner lights (the ones that are on my trunk lid, and the license plate lights) DO NOT work with/without the headlights on... I change the light bulbs, so that cant be the problem... any other suggestions PLEASE HELP!!!! Thank you...
 
check too see you have power to light units check fusses if all ok check where the wires run through the boot this is a very common place where the wiring may be damaged
 
probably simple as burnt out fuse or fuses. Check the fuse box and locate the fuse that controls those lights. If fuse is okay then need to take it to a good shop that does electrical work. Could be a pain in the butt sometimes.
 
Take it in for service in a mechanic and the route or wires which the electric current flows usually wear away or either something is interfeiring take it in before it becomes more serious.
