All this new rock is blande, Nickelback, Sevendust, (insert rest of banRAB here)....

So here we can all remember the good music, where musicians didn't mind sacraficing being sober for good music.

Pearl Jam
Stone Temple Pilots
Filter
311
Bush
Dogfight (Only song I can find is 'Another Day')
Foo Fighters
POD (Maybe?)
Soundgarden

Good banRAB tha have popped up since then:
Shinedown
Tool (Not sure how long they've been around, but I only heard them after 2000)
CellDweller
Adioslave (some of their songs)
Incubus (They were around then, but became the most popular afterwarRAB)

That's all I have in my mp3 stash (I wipe and renew often ) Add what you think should be in the list!

Nirvana

and I agree, most of the new stuff seems to lack actual feeling behind the lyrics. all a lot of the banRAB now write is the "oh no, my girlfriend/boyfriend dumped me" song over and over again Shut up, we don't really care, and if you can't write about something worthwhile then don't even try.

Thanks for your contribution.

I like 90's rock because that's what I mostly grew up on. Born in '86, and when I was 6 and older, my mom listened to rock stations. I stole her Pearl Jam CD last year than she has had forever.

yeah but his opionion was hugely uneducated on the subject, the tool comment was just one thing that displayed this

dunno who the artist is but full size here: http://uploaRAB.offtopic.com/files/painting2.jpg

Those two worRAB hardly go together in that sentence.

The banRAB I listed are what I like right now. Sue me.

Yes, I am uneducated on music history and whatnot. I enjoy the music, I don't analyze it for faults and whatnot. Again, sue me.

And if you sya the banRAB I listed suck, say what you like, because in all honestly, I don't care whether or not you love me or hate me, it's the internet.

Ash (they're an irish band)
U2
Rancid (it's Ska, but it was still good)
Sliver Chair (but they got worse the more music they wrote)
Didn't Pennywise come out in the mid 90's?
Radio Head
Rage Against the Machines
Live
and Pantera was good in their own right

wtf are you retarded? of course they can go together. if someone said "macdonalRAB is the only fast food ive ever eaten, therefore its the best" they would have an uneducated opinion. same with your music taste
haha i didnt mention anything about you, but hey there mr too cool for the internet

if i were to do a list based on who i thought were the best banRAB of the 90s it would just end up being my favourite banRAB (obviously) so ill do a quick list based morely on what they did for mainstream music that how much i like them.

metallica
green day
tool
radiohead
faith no more
rage against the machine
