Hi all

Forgive me if this has been asked before, I did do a search honest guv!

When will all Star Wars movies with all the extended bits and bobs me in one DVD super pack, or will this never happen.

Thanks in advance

PJ

Well seeing as 2007 will be the 30th anniversary of Star Wars the world is expecting a Deluxe super special edition off all six movies. I'm hoping that it will be on DVD & Blu-ray which will give an excuse to get a HD TV & PS3!
Also I bet my mate that George will release a limited boxset in a Darth Vader helmet or with some sort of model. The collectors will go wild.

I'd be very shocked if we did not see one next year.

I'll certainly buy. The prequels got a lot of criticism, but I always enjoyed them and would like to own every episode in one set.

I hope they do release a boxset of all 6 thou I do prefer the originals without the digital extras, jabba in a new hope just looked so badly made compared to return of the jedi, also at the end of the new version of a return of the jedi they changed the ghost of anakin which looked badly done as well

Don't know about the DVD box set release, but if you have Sky HD you will be able to see all six episodes on January 1st, back to back, in numerical order and all in glorious HD. ;)

I have all 6 on DVD but I would still like a 6-film boxset....even if I already own them...if only because more changes would probably be made, especially some that I would be in favour of, such as a CGI Yoda in Episode I, wtf was up with that puppet...it looked stoned! lol :D

i'm sure i saw a CGI Yoda in a clip from episode I, it was in the episode III DVD special feature "The Choosen One". the CGI Yoda looks a darn sight better than that puppet they used.

I've been holding off buying these for a long time, as George keeps tinkering with them.
I guess that I'll only buy them when he releases an "Ultimate version" (in an R2-D2 please) or when he retires!

gaffer

I hope that they release them in standard format as well not everybody can afford to replace their DVD player with a HD one at the moment and or buy an XBOX 360 or buy a PS3 they have got to be realistic about this havnt they ?
