I'll answer you step by step:
You say:

Does not work. I get always "error installing the peripheral" (my XP is in italian, so I'm tempting the translation, but I thimk, you get the idea.
Enclosed are the pictures of the cable I get with the phone. I did a Macro photo. I think is clear enough. Did you noticed the Black and Red wires (- and + ???) are soldered together??? In no USB cable connection diagram I've ever seen a connection like this!!!
For the other white and blue wires (data- and data+), I dunno which is which.
So for this cable the question is: Is it correctly wired? can you check it?
(BTW, I have another problem: I cannot recharge the mobile batteries, (I use an external device) since I get "Warning! Charger error!!!
The code *#0066*# does not produce any result on my phone.
Ok. that's all.
Hope you could clarify something to me.

Hi Mario,
Once again i think that your problem are that the cable isn't for your phone.It's normal that GND and Vcc are soldered into more than one pin- in most cases GND & Vcc can be up to 3 pins together.In your case you cat try to resolder positions of blue and white wires - just swap their places and try what you will got .
Don't worry your phone will not have damages when swap those wires.

If it ...then try *#66*# . I think that you have an MT based phone because your menus are isn't like Sp's menus.Also you can check is both of sim cards are online- i mean try to call from SIM1 and from other phone call to SIM2.If your operatoe says that the SIM2 number is turned off or outside network coverage - is Spreadthrum phone. If you got message or you see call waiting or similar - is MT's phone,because only MT based have 2 CPU's worked together

I did all the tests you ask, and here are the result:
-Swapping wires:
I swapped the wires but I got the very same answer from XP: "unrecognized hardware"

YES !!!! My phone is the one you refer in your link ROY V882.
-Engineering mode:
I tried also the *#66*# dial. No effect at all.
-Incoming/Outgoing call
I did tried the test you refer, calling a number using the SIM1 and trying to make another call from outside to SIM2: The second line result is BUSY or CALL WAITING, not "outside network coverage"
So, as you say it should be an MT based machine, right?
So AGAIN, what is the correct cable pinout I need?

Well yes your phone is MT based ,so in this case you will have full featured phone with phonebook manager and so... so....
On second thread- well seems you phone haven't original cable set.This is normal for most of cases when phone is little cheaper that rest of them. So ...... together we must made an cable for your phone . ...
Let's try:
First see which pins are used for headset ( phones or handsfree set).Uncheck then from whole pins ( I think that they are 20), also uncheck power pins .
Or if you can send me an photo of headset plug to see if they ase similar to other phone model .
I think that in China phone factories are 3 or 5 and they produced an OEM or NONAME phones and ressellers are those that decided what will be brand for this week
I have about 7 pcs. different brands with identical mainboard display and so..
( Please excuse me ,but is you familiar with elctronics ,equipment and measurements? Because after removing from list the pins which used for headset and power supply ,the rest of pins you must check voltage with voltage measurement device.)
