Alif and recovery/ how long off work

Hello,

I am preparing to have an alif. I have already had two discectomys (Sp) and now need an Alif, Also I have had a cervical fusion.
My question is how long before you can return to work. I drive 50 miles one way to an office.

You didn't say where your ALIF is. That will make a difference on your driving. I had a three level fusion and my doc told me that I couldn't drive for 6 weeks.....alot of it will depend on how much work they did and your own surgeon's restrictions.
