Alien V Predator Movie

With Freddy V Jason coming out soon I wonder if they will get this one started. I would love to see it. The Alien movies havent been that good since Aliens (the 2nd one).

Robert Rodriguez has written and submitted a script to 20th Century Fox, they have put it on ice for almost 3 years now but if it ever comes to fruition, word has it that Rodriguez has first dibs to helm the project.

Paul Anderson (Resident Evil) has written the script and is also directing it, after being given the job by FOX.

The film is set in "Near Future Earth".
Arnie has been approached and looks like he's signed on the dotted line. Where as Sigourney Weaver is still in negotiations with FOX.

If they base it on the comics, Sigourney won't come near the film (here is hoping!)

Alien Vs Predator pre-production kicks off in October. Same director as Resident Evil movie.

Freddy vs Jason out in the UK cinemas on August 22nd. Heard the soundtrack in HMV and its got loaRAB of great tracks from Slipknot, Spineshank, Sepultura and Type O negative.

After seeing Predator 2 on 5 last night I look forward to seeing the next instalment.

P2 got a bit of a slating from the critics but I thought it was great. The scene in the alien craft when the predators start to appear is awesome. What would YOU do ?

I think that there was quite a thick layer of smoke on the ground. I would drop to the floor and roll sideways out into the corridor, then turn at 90 degrees and roll down the corridor a bit, keeping my arms straight by my side. Hopefully they would be looking for me in the Trophy Room still. Then when I was out of sight of the Predators I would run like I've never run before.
