Alice, an unpretentious and individual 19-year-old, is betrothed to a dunce of an English nobleman. At her engagement party, she escapes the crowd to consider whether to go through with the marriage and falls down a hole in the garden after spotting an unusual rabbit. Arriving in a strange and surreal place called "Underland," she finds herself in a world that resembles the nightmares she had as a child, filled with talking animals, villainous queens and knights, and frumious bandersnatches. Alice realizes that she is there for a reason--to conquer the horrific Jabberwocky and restore the rightful queen to her throne.

He added a bit of background story and a few extra characters to Alice's Adventures did not do as much as I thought it would be the story. I genuinely wanted to love this movie, and I am a huge Tim Burton / Johnny Depp fan. But this just did not do it for me. Out of the theater wondering if it was just a scenario of average or director who has failed to meet expectations. The best part of this film is probably Johnny Depps portray the Mad Hatter, who is really mad. However, Alice Mia Wasikowska displays in a way that was boring to me check my watch every ten or fifteen minutes. Overall this film is not terrible, but at the same time on any masterpiece, the film is interesting to look at I think this would be a good, but if you want a great story and convincing acting, you may want to check something else, because this is not the movie you are looking Him.
