I've got quite a bit of algae behind my filter. i have two sucker fish but they can't fit behind my filter, which is why i'm guessing it has grown quite a bit there. i can't even fit my scruber behind it. will i have to take it apart and scrub it off? i've got algae control stuff but does that only prevent it or can it actually dissolve it away?

Algae is natural and the fish eat it in-between meals, if it is annoying you then you will have to scrub it off, or you can get tiny snails but they don't eat it all. If you get enough algae that you have to have algae control then try having the lights on less.
