Alexandre Desplat - Harry Potter 7 Part 1

Alexandre Desplat has been confirmed as the new composer in the Harry Potter film franchise. He's due to produce the score for Deathly Hallows Part 1 - your views on this matter will be appreciated.

So did I. Am I right in saying he's worked on them since day 1?

What do you mean? Has he had some input or actually composed the scores?

Because if you mean the latter, then no he only composed the first 3 film scores. But his piece, "Hedwig's Theme" has been used in every film.
Nicholas Hooper took over from film 5 and did a really good job.
