Another user has been kind enough to inform me, that after meeting with the AKC board to show them his/her Pom, they have chosen to rewrite the breed standard of the Pomeranian. Despite having several DQ faults, they have agreed that his/her Pom, is a perfect representation of the breed, and what ALL Poms should be modeled after.
What do you think the Pomeranian Club of America will think about this? Will they hang their heads in shame for all those years of being completely wrong about what the ideal is for their breed, or will they fight this intrusion by the AKC?
