My fiance is currently at Camp Pendleton, and for college spring break I was going to fly out to see him (I would fly out March 12-13). However, he's not sure if he's still going to be in Camp Pendleton at that time, or if he is going to be in Twentynine Palms doing his job training. I wanted to order my plane ticket soon though, and was wondering if there is a public/international airport close to these two areas (Camp Pendleton & Twentynine Palms). I grew up in a town with less than 200 people so I'm not good at city-driving, so I'd also love if I didn't have to drive through any major cities or for a particularly long distance (over 1.5/2 hours?)
