Airborne question for the Army?

Ok...I know this might seem like a really stupid question, but I guess I just need some insight and opinions. I'll be going through BCT/AIT this coming January and Jump School as always interested me and I know it would look good on my papers...but...I am deathly afraid of heights. Would this be a good way of overcoming that fear as I know they do train you how do this accurately, or should I just stay away from it altogether? I just didn't know if someone's phobia like that would overcome any sort of training. (It's not a medical phobia, mind you, just something I've always been nervous about). Please answer this respectably as I will delete any negative or mean comments. This is a serious question and I don't want to see anything like "urr urr thats a retarded thing to ask." If it's retarded, then please tell me why. I just want constructive opinions as this is ultimately my decision. Thank you.
