Gotta love Italian ingenuity.....I just hope it lives up to the hype:

great video of the system in action.

There is a concern in the industry that now the manufacturers and aftermarket companies are demonstrating that airbags for bikes (either on the rider or on the bike, as in Honda's airbag-equipped Gold Wing now on the market) are practical, the safety extremists are going to try and make them mandatory...yikes...

If that's the case then so be it....I've never been one to go against anything (proven) that's going to increase rider safety.

KarlG - Repost, huh?

Shows how I never visit the "Gear" forum......

I have been wondering when they were gonna come up with something like this. I think its great!! The only problem would be accidental deployments and airflow could be a problem as well.

Brooks, read my comment form the other thread about this. It might enlighten you.

NVM. I see you already read them. I guess it just doesn't make sense to you?

He wont because that wont increase his post count.. The guy is going for 1000 post in two months while not even owning the bike that the forum is about.

My post count was already increased from reading the original thread on May 25 Thank you for pointing that out IK.

I'm was just curious on how the airbag was going to be refined to help the "everyday" rider, thats all I don't see what owning an 848 has to do with it

But thank you MF for helping me raise my post count by giving me the oppurtunity to write this in reply to you

WOOHOO!! I'm 1 post closer to 1000

It's funny how everyone is more concerned about my post count than me, i really appreciate it
