air leak from recirc door on 1992 ford escape?

I have a 1992 ford escape with an airleak while driving from the seal on the ac recirc door. Foam does not seem distorted and door operates properly-only opening when max ac is turned on. But when closed I get a bad draft from around the seal. Gets very very cold during the winter while driving-had to duct tape over opening on heater case for the winter
