We all have been there before. Do a search on "internal combustion engines" also "turbo vs supercharger" or "force induction" and stuff alike. http://howstuffworks.com is a good place to start.I'm here with no much to do so here are my $ .02 (please don't take it the wrong way)
1. With a supercharger you will make the same or more power than before but at earlier rpm's therefore less rpm's/vibration issues.
2. With a sc you are forcing air into the engine, before the sc, the engine was sucking air at own pace.
3. With a sc the internal pressure of the engine is increased, so new and the correct internals are suggested. You don't have to replace them but it will be wise to do.
4. Upgrade the fuel system is A+. A lean mixture= less fuel= dry= hotter= problems and bad things. Now a rich mixture (not so rich)= plenty of fuel= cooler= power= happy rider. (a bit of black smoke, more than normal will be noticed but that's ok).
5. Spark plugs, colder plugs are required. (easy fix) no more oem spec plugs.
6. Ignition and timing. leave it for the pro's to tune it the right way.
Once all that is done and some more, hang on and blast away!!!
