i have a 2003 ford focus. it is THE BASE MODEL lx. no air conditioning. is there an air conditioner i can buy that doesn't have to be built into the car. i don't want to pay the something like 1500 bucks that it might cost to have it installed since i only paid 500 for the car. putting down the windows doesn't work. i'm half tempted to go out and buy a household portable air conditioner and hook it up in the car.
