Air Bike/Eliptical Question...?

For someone in their mid-40s who is very, very sedetary with a BMI is 36.0 with a Fat Percentage of 45.4% and is NOT use to exercising, what is a good amount of time to exercise to start out at and how fast should the pace be? How many times a week is recommendable? What are some FREE simple exercises to do at home?

I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW ABOUT HOW ACAI BERRY OR ANY OTHER VITAMIN, SUPPLEMENT OR HERBAL REMEDY ADVICE TO TRY because I am working with a Nutritionist for Weight Management and have been warned AGAINST trying or using any of these types of things.

Any answers or suggestions would be appreciated.
