Ahhhh broken N73 joystick

I had an accident whilst on my sons skateboard and the little bit on my joystick fell off... i put it back on but it kept falling off. So the clever boy i am i put a little dab of superglue onto it to stick it on but the glue seems to have gone into the actual bit underneath so now i cant move it very well and everytime i try selecting something with it, it jumps around and selects the wrong thing... oops.. in other words its F*****

So to my actual question lol, does anyone from the UK know of how i shouyld go about getting fixed without having insurence??

Thanks for the reply, So if i buy this it is basicly that whole part i get?? Can anyone who has bought and replaced this clarify that:

1 - Its the whole joystick bit you get
2 - That its easy to install!!

this week when i was nokia serice centre a lady had her joystick broken, and she just had the phone for a month, just what makes the joystick break?, apart from gaming of course.
 
There was a little hint in my first post as to how someone could break there joystick.. LOL

Same would probably apply for falling off many things!
 
There have been a couple of HoFo members swap the N73 keyboard and/or casings, so it can be done.

Might not be the easiest thing, as some have not been as successful as what was shown in this HoFo member's N73 case/keyboard swap.

I thought there also was a step by step on someone's blog about swapping the N73 housing....but can't find it anymore (forgot to bookmark it ).

Hey thanks for the reply..... ive already done a housing swap a couple of months ago so that bit isnt a problem for me.. im hoping it will just be a case of taking the housing off then unscrewing and replacing just the little joystick unit!!

I ordered my part from CNN today, so in about 10 days i will either post a happy comment here or ill cry!!
 
How did ya manage to scratch it? I like the stories behind the damages lol!!

I wouldnt worry bout just replacing the housing its pretty fool proof to do, i managed with the credit card between the keys trick..
 
Only thing is trying to find one close enough to go to. Im a lazy S**, think its easier sitting on my butt and waiting for the part to return.. plus i need all my energy for more skateboarding!
