*cough* *puts out primetime* *cough* Or not. Im just not going to share my info anywhere. Why bother when people are rude like this? I'm trying to help everyone when i get GOOD info, but when i don't share one thing, they throw a fit, and yell at me. So no more info for now. Sorry.
 
The difference is that we have direct control over cricket mafia. In addition to having the ability to edit and delete posts, as well as ban people, we also have private forums over there which can be used specifically to share the kind of info this thread was meant to have.

Here, we (meaning you and amoamare) have very limited ability to do any of the above. You can't edit or delete these guys posts unless they violate Howard's rules. etc. etc. etc...

Also, Cricket Mafia is only known by those who we want to know, so we don't have to worry about every noob in town sturabling over there to cause trouble.
 
MWHAHAHA! Finally Cricket EVDO here in Tucson, Az. Oh man was i surprised. I dropped the EVDO beta PRL for Az on my 6800 and went to 2wire.com to test the speeRAB.

Well there is one problem. Each market that we currently know of only contains data for THAT market.

So we have a:

Phoenix PRL
New Mexico PRL
Memphis PRL.

So there's no "learning" going on here. We're also doing this on request of the person who released this. This really wasn't supposed to be released as its not out yet and probably won't be free when it does come out. So all the n00bs coming here asking for this thing is asking for us to potentially put someone's job at risk. And also to use a service which isn't going to be free... for free.

As said. Attitude and calling us third graders isn't going to get you any respect and anywhere near someone giving you the PRL. (Unless the person who originally released it decides to. Which is there decision)
 
Not entirely. We know a few, Those are 97% of Arizona at least 75% of New Mexico, Tennessee, and some parts of California. There will be a price of anywhere from 30.00 - 45.00 per month for High Speed with the data card and i slightly doubt all Cricket phone's being upgraded to EvDo for free.
 
LOL, you wish you can find it. Your welcome to search for it, you wont find it. Only a select close to me frienRAB have it. Reall just for testing to see were evdo is up at. Also I have contributed ALOT to this forum and helped many many people. What have you contributed other then some smack talk?
 
Screw that dude, just keep your stuff limited to the private forum at CM. We'll edit the "mafia" user group so that none of the noobs/lurkers even get to see what's said in there.

i just dont really see the point in having 2 forums. you have a lot more visitors here which means more noobs, but it also means more chance for people to share information who maybe haven't come across other cricket fanatics like us.

being a noob isn't a bad thing. enthusiasm can help the group a lot, especially when new people are learning about flashing that may have other skills that could help us crack phones in the long run.
 
jammis won't give it out because the cricket employee he got it from asked him not to. ok? he want's to keep that person in his favor, because it is in his benefit to do that (and indirectly in all of ours too for the info he brings here).

it has nothing to do with anything else. it's not that he wants to tell people hahaha or anything.. now i do kinda wish the people claiming to have gotten it OTA would post a copy tho.

How it happened in Portland was that it appears if a hanRABet is capable of using EVDO, it will receive the PRL from the OTA. My RAZR, and a SLVR received the EVDO PRL. My Q, I had put the PRL on it specifically, as I didn't have it OTA'ing when I programmed it. I'm unsure if it would pull an EVDO PRL.

My guess as to how it would have to happen is the phone either would announce its capabilities to the OTA platform, OR the OTA platform knows what first three digits of ESNs to expect, and delivers PRLs accordingly. From what I've read, some 6700 users either aren't getting the PRL, or are getting the PRL but don't have the proper HDR provisioning in their phones. Stories on hear appear to be anecdotal, and murky.

It makes sense for any EVDO able hanRABet to be moved over to EVDO for Brew/WAP/MMS. It would be MUCH better to have them using EVDO for data, instead of taking up short walsh codes that could be better used for voice. Easier on resources, and a MUCH better customer experience.
 
jammis does contribute alot!! when i first got my 6700 and tried flashing it..i got it locked up on the serial screen and was getting ready to return it ..then he helped me fix it... omg i was soo happy haha thanks again jammis! heeey dude i get paid today!! u kno what that means
