agv ti tech or gp helmets anyone here try or use them?

Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with these helmets, looking for a new one. I ride with a shark rsi now but its getting old, and I like the shoei x11 and rf 1000 but they are super common.

any advice is much appreciated.

thanks

I just got my agv ti tech red rose and its awesome. Extremely light and comfortable. It comes with racing tear offs for the shield. And its gorgeous in person. I get millions of complements on it every time I ride. I got mine off ebay for 390 bucks shipped to Canada from these guys called good guys performance.0the shiping took about 3 and a half weeks but they were great to deal with. I priced out the same helmet in edmonton and would have cost me over 800 bucks. Hope that's a help.

I'm not to sure. But I tried on an arai profile in large and it wouldn't fit me. But the agv in large fits perfectly. Oh I should tell you, the only thing that kinda bugs me about the ti tech is that it doesn't really have any holes in the padding for you ears. Its kinda like wearing a pair of ear muffs.

yeah thats one thing nice about the shoei, but the graphics are kinda cheesy to me. to much bling but solid color helmets remind me of spaceballs the movie

I just ordered the AGV GP TECH after trying the other AGV. I had written off AGV though they have an awesome crash rating the best ECE certified etc - because they fit like a wooden box. Then I tried the GP TECH. wow, Cosy, comfortable, super fit. I think its considered a "relaxed oval" for the fit shape. Ya the thing with the ears is funny. There are holes but they're small. I have pretty average ears - not big by any standard, and they kind of bend my ears forward just a bit. Not uncomfortable, but funny feeling. The Duc dealer that sold it to me said it would

I wouldn't limit myself to just one model from a particular brand. I have the agv stealth and it fits me great. They can be found online for about 190 bucks and like I said it's a great helmet.

agv ti-tech "heart" in large
agv gp-tech "dreams" in medium

notice the two different sizes, each fitting me as they should. the only thing i might change in my GP helmet are the cheek pads as they are a touch snug for me.
