to Yahoo to discuss religion? I'm an atheist. I'm affected in some way in my daily life by religion.
Not always in bad ways either, mainly good positive ways.
I think there are perversions of religion that affect us all, example is radical Islam, a perversion of the main religion that leads to suicide bombers.
I don't have to believe as a Muslim to ask questions about Islam, and since I'm affected by it, wouldn't it make sense that I'd be intellectually curious about it and want to ask about it?
Atheists are affected by religion, and don't have to be religious to be curious about it.
We don't want to convert, just understand.
And co-exist.
