I have a 15 gallon tank with a male blue ram cichlid.. he's housed with some small community fish. I used to have 2 rams, but he chased and harrassed the female to death (she died from stress, not physical harm). I thought Ram cichlids were friendly non-aggressive community fish... what gives here? It's not like he's breeding and has a mated pair... I put in another Ram and all he wants to do is nip at him too...LOL
Is there any way to make the male Ram non-aggressive? Or should I see if the LFS will be willing to swap him out?
