Here is the situation. My girlfriend & myself were robbed at gunpoint. There was a driver (who happens to be her dead-beat baby's father) - he drove to her house with his friend. We were in the car at the time, and his friend was the one with the gun and he held us at gunpoint and robbed us. He also assaulted me and broke my nose. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of my nose when it was broken or anything like that. Later on that night, they were found by the cops in the driver's car (her baby's father). Mind you, he didn't do anything but drive to the scene and watched. Here's the news article of the incident, please take a look at it...

Anyways, it's been three months and I got this letter in the mail this week about the victim who assaulted me, and the trial date is on April 6, 2009. The question I wanted to know is, do you think the other guy (her baby's father) will be going to trial to because I only got a letter about the one who actually assaulted me. I was told that they both are at fault even if all he did was drive, he got arrested that night and he also told my girlfriend that he was going to end up going to jail for five years for "something he didn't even do".. B.S. - you drive to her house looking for trouble. He's saying he's going to jail for a minimum of five years in the future, but I have not yet heard anything about this though. I just keep hearing about the other guy.. is there a way I would be able to call someone and look up into this or is it just because they are probably going to have seperate trial dates? Please help!
hey "No Class", no I don't have an attorney, I didn't think I would need one because when they found the two later that night, they was already found with the gun in the car and everything. They basically admitted fault. So I didn't think I would have to get an attorney, I also didn't want to waste $1,000 on it if they got found that night.
