So my T3 is back ( or a refurished model, probably). I restored my device from back up man. I am finding that
1
it does not seem tosynch... it takes 15 minutes or moreof the calender synch and then I give up
Agendus 6 is not working. When I try to add info to the callender ( meetings) I get a crash witht he message DataMgr/c failure line 7399 DmWrite DmWriterCh.failure. It is also not picking upentries I make in the core ap for the callender. It is, howver mering witht eh todo list and people aps with no problem. Can any one help me? It worked before I sent it to palm.

See my thread (about 12 down from top) entitled "HotSync Continuous Loop Syncing "Calendar"

For Agendus to work you have to activate the Palm's built in Task and Calendar section. That makes it "read" something it's supposed to.

I also had the endless calendar hotsyncing, and "fix it" details are in that thread. Make sure you back up your Calendar DB (there are 4 files for calendar, you want the one with "DB" and first few letters of your user name). By back-up I mean to SD Card with a backup utility, as obviously you can't back up to HotSync if HotSync is taking forever and you're giving up. So did I!!

Follow rest of directions in thread.

Very strange this happened to both of us; apparently it isn't (or wasn't) common but I believe it has something to do with the hard reset performed at the factory. In my case it was a "self imposed hard reset" and restore.

The calendar section on your T3 isn't "sending" what it needs to directly to the desktop - but it can be fixed.

Fortunately I did nit have to do this I found an older restore in backupman and used it, now everything works BUT I have a new problem...
When I turn off Teal Script I cannot write on screen . Duh. It seems getting the t3 workiing is a never ending problem Any ideas for this one? Thanks TL for your always helpful responses

Update to the newest 3.52 version; Tealpoint put a lot of effort in to this problem and believe it's fixed now. Make sure TealScript is DISABLED. Perform soft reset, load TealScript. DO NOT ACTIVATE YET. Press "Write on screen" on. Then "enable" TealScript and you'll get message saying "turn screen write off NOW." Disable write off button in bottom row. You should then be able to toggle on and off with the Palm T3 off/on box at bottom - but have benefits of TealScript.

Personally, when I disable mine before enabling tealscript, the little "light" goes off on the write/enable box. I just leave it that way and don't togglle on and off. I have TealScript ON all the time, but the new version allows you to pick apps where you wouldn't want it on - I have a couple and otherwise it's on all the time. No brainer from that point . . . you just use it daily and don't worry about "toggling" anything.
