Today I posted to the Iambic Forum, under "Feature requests" the following: They are already taking suggestions for Version 9; Please go to Iambic Forums and REVIEW the Bug Reports page keeping the following in mind:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"How about this . . .
Perhaps a new feature should be "honesty in pricing;" stop charging for upgrades when they're really BETAS being tested by new customers and OLD CUSTOMERS like me - at an "upgrade" cost!! Very unfair and not like the Iambic that brought you TinySheet and Fastwriter! Take a loog at the Bug Report Forum and tell me I'm wrong . . .
There is nothing like Agendus - no other product that competes - but if something is a lingering problem it should be fixed or dropped as a feature in favor of stability. I realize Iambic need to make money, but I have owned Agendus since 5.35 and have seen it become bugware and bloatware with CONSTANT upgrade charges, some applying to BUYERS ONLY 6 weeks old! This is ludicrous and unfair.
My last upgrade was 7.06; to upgrade to 8.0 would have been $9.95. I waited. 8.01, 8.02, 8.03 all had bugs supposedly fixed in 8.04. Well, apparently not - and my $19.95 for upgrade to Agendus 8.04 PRO is in the mail. Silly me.
Now we're taking suggestions for 9.0??!! How much will THAT be and what will actually be fixed? I thought 7.06 was a beta for v8 -- apparently v8 is a beta for 9 - and people being charged all the way along?!
Please correct this by perhaps charging $26.95 and only providing PRO - not two versions any more -- and free upgrades for ONE YEAR. Hopefully by the end of that year users would have things "fixed" that matter to them - and Iambic will still earn the money it deserves."

I am having trouble actually "talking" to someone in Customer Support about this but apparently there are STILL problems in 8.04 with alarms, checking off repeating To Do's, Contact Photos and icon preferences. I have "witnessed" two of them - icons being the most annoying. It is wrong for Iambic to be charging for upgrades when we're basically paying beta testers but in case this thread was "eliminated," it is on record here.
