Agendas defects

Based upon a post by one of our respected moderators on this board, who commented that Agendas is one of the top software applications h/she had come across, I recently purchased Agendas for use with my T3. My initial impressions were that I liked the broader flexibility in allowing me to organize my tasks and schedule, the ability to use colors and icons was very useful. Unfortunately, I immediately found quirks, including the fact that I could not create tasks in Agendas, I had to create them in Outlook and then modifiy them in Agendas. Otherwise I received corrupt file messages, and the Agendas created tasks would not syncronize with my exchange server. After about two weeks of this, I finally had a major melt down with a corrupt file in my tasks that completely disallowed any synchronization with my T3. I ultimately had to recreate my Outlook profile and start all over with a clean slate. Fortunately, most data was still on the server, so I only lost a couple days of new information. Has anyone had a similar experience, or have any light they might shed on this situation? I'd rather not give up Agendas, but I can't risk this again....

Not only have I ever had it in two years of using Agendus constantly, but I have never heard of ANYONE having other than a "freeze" requiring a soft reset.

Two things to my knowledge would cause a soft reset in the past:

1. Playing with transferable icon sets in 7.06
2. Changing a Meeting to a to do and at the SAME TIME chaning the category of the to do and the icon. This was alleviated by changing the meeting to a to do, exiting the app and reopening it to make the other changes. This has now been fixed.

I would suggest that the problems with outlook and error messages have nothing to do with Agendus, and more to do with the way your palm syncs with Outlook.

Under preferences, do you have "keep in optimal order" checked? I do, because 1) I don't sync with outlook and never will, and 2) I don't care what order they're in on the Palm's internal Datebook/To Do programs.

MooseMan was a betatester for Agendus - you might ask him, and sorry you had trouble.
