age of consent law 16 in georgia.. what's this mean?

what i am asking is when i am 16 in the state of georgia and i consent to sex with someone 18 or older, say 21 even would it be legal? or not? THANK YOU.

Yes, once you hit 16 you can consent to sex with anyone over the age of consent despite their age.

There are close in age exceptions for minors between the ages of 14 and 16, those exceptions don't apply here.

yes, but a younger person is still allowed to have sex as long as their partner isn`t more than 2 years older.

Once you reach the age of consent you can consent to sex with any other person who is also above the age of consent. Doesn't matter if he's 18, 21 or 61.
