I recently bought an 09 Mustang and have had a hell of a time putting in my aftermarket radio. I tried some websites and most of tehm said that the 04-08 mustang was the same wiring but since companies like Scosche havent updated their sites yet i cant find a model number anywhere. I went to my local stereo shop and he tried selling me the 08 also. i got it home did the whole install then realized the harness fits but the pins didnt match the "female" adapter in the car. The most obvious one was the one for the ground wire. I brought the wire back to the dealer(after a week of hassling his employees he finally gave me the money back)
So here I am digging through every damm stereo site i could find,NOBODY has a specific model #. Except some guy on ebay but i wont trust that at all.
Can somebody with some knowledge of 2009 stangs Please point me in the right direction?????
