appear to be going to go into bankruptcy anyway. BO is asking for the head of GM to step down. Why are they pushing Detroit around and not Wall Street? How come heads of these failed banks haven't been call on the carpet? Is it easier to push detroit around than it is wall street? Heck......we're lucky if we can get back the millions in bonus money paid to these jerks let alone force them to step down. What do you think?

lick the sweat out of the crack of my fat a$$.

Because they don't want another AIG incident. All the bailouts to the Big 3 did nothing to save them, it was only an extension of time before they filed bankruptcy!

Difference is that bankers are his buddies, and of course the bailouts failed they were not designed to suceede, just to give kickbacks to people in his group. By making GM head to step down it makes him look like he is being proactive and taking action, while doing this with his left hand his right hand is patting AIG execs on the back.

Think about this for a moment. You have people in DC who have never actually balanced a budget in their entire time in office dictating who is going to get fired because they can't stay in the black? You have people in DC who can't balance their own budget giving away tens of billions or hundreds of billions to companies who can't make ends meet.

We should have never started bailing out anyone. It set a very bad precedent. It said you go right ahead and waste your money --We'll give you more .

Capitalism operates best when it's survival of the fittest. You have to run fast and jump high or you get eaten. Right now there are a lot of companies that Democrats can't afford to get eaten. And here's why. They will have pumped $2 trillion dollars into them and if they fail it's one helluva costly mistake throwing that much money down a rat hole. It's not that these companies are too big to fail. It 's that Democrats have too much invested in them to allow them to fail. Democrats can't afford it.
