Was it the National Socialist Germany Workers party, sometimes called Nazis?

Nationalizing the banks has actually worked for at least these two countries: Mexico and Sweden, none of which are socialist countries.

As is we are paying way more for the banks or car makers than they are actually worth and they are just wasting our money and not saving any jobs, nor creating a better product nor lending the money which is what they are supposed to do. Instead they are hoarding the money buying up more banks and giving themselves huge bonuses.

We should nationalize, get them back on their fit and then sell for a profit to recover taxpayers' money.
 
Isn't it all just scary. And, people better keep their eyes and minds open, Going electronic medical records is a huge move when all they have to do is key in your name at any government office and pull up your entire medical history. This does not produce jobs, this takes jobs because it will take less people to type the notes. I know lots about EMR, and this will not be a good thing "for the people".

Steele said the govt does not create jobs...as Lt Governor of Maryland, he should have been intelligent enough to know there are a lot of govt workers in Maryland. These people are not the sharpest pencil in the drawer.
 
sorry Deb but you forgot that many socialist countries have moved toward privatization, meaning that they are a mixed economy. Actually if you do a comparison of the United States with some of those "true socialist" countries you will find that were a lot closer to socialism than you may realizes and were mover closer.

Think about this, what's the one thing that separates us from many of those countries? The United State Constitution
