P Patty New member Jun 16, 2009 #1 ...the mat down or take it up? The seeds were sowed on soil below the mat so the mat was just protection until they grow but they are sprouting up thru the mat. Should I leave the mat there?

K kala New member Jun 16, 2009 #2 I would leave the mat if it will eventually disintegrate or decay. It is acting as a mulch helping to keep water in and weeds out.
