I'm not sure if it's my GERD or chronic indigestion, but when I eat, a lot of times it feels like the food is still in the bottom of my throat and if I burp, I can almost burp it back up. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have this same problem at times. I've lost alot of weight because I can't eat when I'm hurting.

For 7 months now when I eat I get full really fast. I feel like food is not going through my stomach. I'm okay unless I bend over or cough deeply and then I will throw food back up. Usually if I can belch while I am eating it goes down far enough that I don't throw up. I know I eat alot less now than before. My weight is down 15lbs during this time.

I suggest all of you see your doctor and get a referral to a gastroenterologist. You could have a stricture in your esophagus or a blockage. I am the last person to want to cause worry or panic, however, my husband had these same symptoms and did nothing until he couldn't swallow at all. He passed away from esohageal cancer. I'm sure none of you are at that point, but get it checked so it doesn't progress to something serious. God bless.
