After cleaning my fish tank should I put water conditioners in?

If they are needed should I put them in according to the tank size or according to how much water I took out?
 
Yes. it takes out nitrates and chlorine thats in your tap water...and yes only put in the amount according to how much water you removed!
 
The first time you add water into your tank it should be according to the amount of gallons. You should do weekly water changes of 25% or 40% with gold fish. When you do water changes you should add water conditioner according to how much you put back in.
