After Chastity Bono has a sex change, will she be considered "straight"?

Isn't being sexually attracted to the same gender what "gay" is? Wouldn't that make her more "bi" than "gay?" No disrespect meant towards anyone. I'm just a bit confused.
 
HIS name is Chaz and yes he'll be straight. Most of the the time the object of the peoples affections does not change after transition. So he was attracted to women before and if that remains unchanged YES he will be straight.


Maybe this will help:

To know a persons sexuality you must know how they identify gender-wise first.

If a person identifies as female, no matter their surgical status, and they attracted to men, they are straight.

If a person identifies as female, no matter their surgical status, and are attracted to women, they are lesbian.

If a person identifies as male, no matter their surgical status, and are attracted to women, they are straight.

If a person identifies as male, no matter their surgical status, and are attracted to men, they are gay.



So please respect HIS identity and consider him straight.

The conflict between body and mind, not to mention societal expectations, is incredibly intense and it can take decades for a person to come to self-acceptance and transition. He was never female. He was always male, we just didn't know it until now.
