After boot-camp in the Marine Corps?

the first day of leave counts as a day of travel, the last day, unless youre checked in before 0900, is a day of leave.
it will say on his orders to SOI to report no later than midnight or noon or whichever to the CO of ITB or MCT bn-there will be a checkin area and all the boots will be running around clueless.
 
My husband graduates July 17th so I was wondering for his 10 day leave do they count the 17th as one day....what day would it be where he reports to MCT???
