I am trying to find out prior to seeing a recruiter about what is next after OCS. I know Basic is 9 weeks and OCS is 12 weeks, but when you "select" a career in the Army (Active Duty, 3 year term) such as Quartermaster Officer, Transportation Officer, Ordnance Officer, etc., each career has additional training programs at different bases, correct? Basically, I am trying to establish a rough timeline on the training involved to be commissioned as a 2nd Lt. and ready to begin a career in the Army. So, 9 weeks Basic at whatever base location, 12 weeks OCS at Fort Benning, GA, and say ... 12 more weeks for Transportation Basic Officer Leader Course (TBOLC) at Ft. Eustis (or whatever the length of the program is ... for example sake) for a total of 33 weeks. Is this basically how it works? Thanks!
