After a separation of a year my boyfriend son's father still wants to marry

me, still talks of the first time? we met etc, adamant he does not want me as a girlfriend anymore, he just wants to marry. He's life has just progressed to another level, but he still wants me and wants to marry me and all the stuff that go with out, family outings, appearances together etc etc

What does anyone think, how can you tell when a man wants to get serious?
