Even if the person doing it is the one who was the dumper?
My ex is the one acting this way... He broke up with me for the second time two weeks ago (were together a year, broke up for two months, he asked me back, changed his mind). And now apparently he "confessed his love" to his ex from two years ago, and she's engaged to another guy and they haven't actually talked much in two years.
I find myself recently wanting to talk to exes, like get in contact, but maybe it's just an ego boost.
What do you think? Is this typical behavior? i think in my ex's case he has unresolved past issues and what he has for his ex isn't actually love, and he'll come to see that once he deals with his past (although I do think a part of him will love her, like we do for our exes, but with him I'm talking about something different)
