I'm starting to bring myself off bit by bit off that wicked pantethine/b5. I've read about african black soaps and oily skin, there is a madina brand with all natural substances:vitamin E, cocoa butter, etc. It got my attention and seemed to have good acne reviews where I looked across the internet. I trust organic materials, anyone know?

Don't be just because people tell you their misguided logic, I swear... I've been putting East African Shea butter on my face (east african is for sensitive skin and the face, west is not for the face but is always put in everything you see that says shea butter on the bottle). I have not gotten 1 pimple from this stuff, and my skin feels so much healthier and the red marks are fading, but my oil is a pain. I've seen them written like shea butter and black soap are cousins, so I'm curious.

The one from Madina is not the stuff you want. You're looking for raw african black soap also known as Anago Samina. Thats the one I use everyday and yes it is excellent for oily skin because it penetrates deep to get rid of all the junk. thats why its so good for acne and stuff. But then I put on shea butter which is oily in itself soooo....yeah lol:D
