AF boot camp and the whole....?

I am a very self conscious girl, and I really want to go into the AF but the one damn thing that's bothering me is the joint shower thing. How bad is it and what not?
 
I didn't like it either during Marine BCT. You get used to it. You get close to most people their, relationship wise, not literally, and then you really don't care after a while.
 
I'm a male. have you ever taken a shower at school? That's about how it was when i went through basic training. when i went to AIT , i had my own room and shower. I think that you may experience the group showers in basic only. I could be wrong though. Thanks for wanting to serve our country.
 
I went through OSUT Infantry Training at Fort Benning, GA. Everyone was BUTT NAKED! No one looks though. No one will be checking you out, and if they do, I think they should go see the shrink...No worries. You will see pretty girls, not so pretty girls.... The group showers are supposed to be quick though. AF is different though. lol, I mean for the first three weeks, I think we showered once, and the entire platoon only got seven minutes....imagine how that was. A bunch of nasty sweaty guys all getting their first shower in three weeks....lol. You don't want to know.
