I have been diaginosed with grade 2 anterolisthesis. I have been to many doctors and up now they have not been able to help me. Today I have an appointment with a orthepedic doctor. If you could give some input on questions that I should ask the doctor, I've already tried: physical therapy, pain managenebt, medications of all sorts for my pain.

Thank you

Hi do you know what anterolithesis actually is as i have an idea but i am not very good at explaining it to you.

I think it is the ligament that runs around your hip and back muscles please don't take me at my word but ask your specialist how it can be treated and how it will affect your spine and your movements if left untreated.
Good luck Judi

In anterolisthesis the upper vertebrae is positioned abnormally compared to the vertebrae below it. A consultation with an orthopedic spine surgeon should help you determine treatment options. You'll want to know to what degree the veretebrae is moved forward over "normal".
