My man left for army basic on oct. 11 at fort henning Georgia. Im 17 and he just turned 20. He wants to be a special force ranger. He graduates in feb. And from there he has airborne school and then preranger school then actual ranger school. I don't know much about it, sometimes I don't know how to ask him questions about it because I have no idea what im talking about. Im so incredibly proud of him. He's on leave in Kentucky now for christmas break so we can finally talk often. I didn't realize how hard it would be, im dreading the time he's gonna go back because that means long waiting periods between letters. I love him with all my heart. I just would like some insight and advice on what is to expect. I don't plan on going anywhere, but all this is completely new, military slang, etc. He doesn't like to tell me how long he'll be gone for, so a rough idea would be great
