I’m looking for help with using my new Babyliss ceramic heated rollers. I recently bought my first set and have tried them out on my just below shoulder length hair but with not very satisfactory results. Apart from simply more practise, do you know of any tips or products which could give me a tighter, longer-lasting curl? I have heat defence spray and hairspray but I have heard using styling mouse, setting lotion and / or gel wax is useful? Is this true? If so which brands would you recommend or what other products would you suggest? My favourite styles are smooth spiral curls and 1940s~50s vintage styles. Please give me your advice bearing in mind I have thick, naturally straight hair which has never been dyed and does not curl easily (although is not impossible!) Any guidance would be very much welcome, thank you!
