...experience.? I'm planning on using the berlin method. Live Rock & a skimmer. The tank Ill be using is a Juwel rio 300. So far I have purchased v2 uv steriliser 600, Hydrometer, RCD,Fluval 305 for mechanical filtration,tetratec 300 pump and 25L water drum. I still have loads to get and would like advise on What skimmer to get? was thinking of Deltec MC500? also what RO unit would you recommend? As I say this is my first venture into marines and would like as much help and advise as possible... I have kept tropical fish for many years and feel now is the time to take the plunge!.
 
I'd get what the petstore recommends. Actually if I wanted to get into saltwater, I would get the skimmer, great filtration, heater, and as big of a tank as I could.
